KS2 Maths will focus on numbers and place value, where pupils will build a strong foundation of comprehending the number system. We will focus on the four operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, looking at strategies for calculations and applying their knowledge for problem solving. We will also work on the understanding of fractions and decimals as well as measurements, geometry and statistics. There will also be an emphasis on arithmetic and times tables to build confidence in general mathematic skills.
